GIL plans to be a 5 GW renewable company by 2015 covering various areas around the country and also covering various forms of Renewable energy.
Presently we own and operate around 165 MW of Wind assets spread across the geographies of four states and 10 Mw of Solar power in Gujarat. Our Wind assets are currently saving over 3, 40,000tonnes of carbon emission per annum and Solar plant is saving approximately 12,000 tonnes of carbon emission per annum.
GIL is presently in process of developing capacities in Wind, Solar, Hydro & Biomass verticals.
